Amazon shut you down.
The next 48 hours decide whether you come back.

Most appeals fail because they answer the wrong question. We find the actual enforcement trigger behind your notification, build an evidence-backed Plan of Action, and run the case until your selling privileges are restored.

Every deactivation Amazon issues — and what each one actually requires

Amazon does not enforce with one rulebook. A performance suspension is an operations problem. A Section 3 deactivation is a proof problem. We treat them differently because Amazon does.

BSA · Section 3

Section 3 deactivation

The broadest and most severe action Amazon takes — often with no reason stated. Your appeal has to prove legitimacy across every possible trigger, not just one.

Severity CriticalEscalation Common
Item authenticity

Inauthentic complaints

Your products don't have to be fake. Amazon only has to be unable to verify them. The fix is a clean, compliant supply-chain record — not a statement that you sell genuine goods.

Counterfeit & IP complaints

Trademark, copyright, patent and Report a Violation claims. We pursue rights-owner retraction in parallel with the appeal, because a retraction resolves faster than a review queue.

Account linking

Related / linked accounts

Shared IP, device, address, bank or supplier. Generic appeals lose these. What wins is a precise factual record of who owns and controls what, and why the link exists.

ODR, LSR, VTR & OTDR

Order defect rate, late shipments, valid tracking and on-time delivery. Amazon wants a changed operation, not an apology — so we submit the process, not the promise.

Review manipulation

Incentivised reviews, vendor services, rebate groups. These require full disclosure and demonstrable severance from the source. Half-answers are what get these permanently denied.

Restricted & unsafe products

Safety complaints, expired goods, restricted categories, missing certification. We assemble the compliance file Amazon's safety team is looking for before we write a word.

Rejected appeals & escalation

Already denied once or twice? We do not resend your old POA with more attachments. We diagnose why it was refused and rebuild the case, including escalation routes.

Why most appeals get rejected

Every rejected submission lowers your credibility with Seller Performance and makes the next one harder. Here is the difference between the appeal that burns an attempt and the one that ends the case.

The appeal that gets denied

  • A downloaded POA template with the seller's name pasted in — Amazon's reviewers see hundreds of these a week.
  • Explains the symptom, not the root cause: "our supplier let us down" instead of what failed in your own process.
  • Blames the customer, the competitor, the carrier or Amazon.
  • Invoices that don't meet the criteria — wrong date range, unit count too low, no supplier contact, retail receipts.
  • Promises "we will improve quality" with no system, owner or date attached.
  • Repeated resubmissions of the same document set, hoping a different reviewer says yes.

The appeal that closes the case

  • Written from your account's actual data — order-level, ASIN-level, notification-level.
  • Names a root cause you controlled, because that is the only cause you can credibly fix.
  • Accepts responsibility in factual, unemotional language. No appeals to sympathy.
  • Ships a document pack built to Amazon's stated criteria, checked line by line before submission.
  • Preventive measures with a named system, owner and implementation date.
  • A planned escalation path if the first submission is refused — prepared before it happens.
Case protocol

Four phases, clock-driven

Suspension work is time-sensitive. Here is exactly what happens after you send us your notification, and when.

Hour 0 – 24

Triage & freeze

You send the performance notification and account health screenshots. We classify the enforcement type, tell you what to stop doing immediately, and give you a written root-cause read — free.

Day 1 – 3

Evidence build

We list every document Amazon will demand for your specific case, review what you have, and flag anything that would trigger a rejection before it is ever submitted.

Day 3 – 5

POA & submission

A case-specific Plan of Action — root cause, corrective actions, preventive measures — written to Amazon's review standard and submitted with the full document pack.

Until closed

Follow-through

We monitor responses, answer every request for information, rebuild and escalate if refused, and hand you a prevention plan once you are back online.

Engagement

Clear scope, quoted before we start

No hourly surprises. You see the fee and the deliverables in writing before any work begins, and the diagnosis costs you nothing.

Ongoing account-health monitoring available as a monthly retainer — $99 per month.
Full Appeal is paid in full before work starts. Escalation is 50% on accepting the quote, 50% on submission. Bank transfer, card or Wise.
Fees are non-refundable once work has begun — which is exactly why the diagnosis is free and the honest assessment comes first.
We do not promise reinstatement. Any provider who guarantees an outcome is guessing, because the decision is Amazon's alone.

Method

How we handle the three cases we see most

These are worked examples of our approach, not client results. We publish outcomes only with a client's written permission — and we won't invent them. If a provider's case studies read like advertising copy, ask them to verify one.

METHOD 01Inauthentic complaint

When invoices are the real problem

Most of these arrive after the seller has already submitted retail receipts and been refused. We start with the documents, not the letter: do the invoices fall inside Amazon's date window, cover enough units for the flagged ASIN, and name a supplier Amazon can independently contact? If any answer is no, the appeal cannot be written yet. We fix the file first, then build the Plan of Action around the sourcing gap.

Document-led, not writing-led
METHOD 02Section 3 · related account

When Amazon won't say what it found

Amazon names no trigger in these notices, so denying the link is the fastest way to lose. We build a factual ownership record instead: registration documents for every entity involved, a dated timeline of any past connection, and evidence of operational separation across addresses, devices, banking and staff. The submission proves control rather than arguing about it.

Proof of ownership, not denial
METHOD 03Performance · ODR / LSR

When the fix has to be operational

Amazon is not looking for an apology here, it is looking for a changed process. We run an order-level analysis to isolate where defects actually originated — often a single carrier lane or one handling-time setting — then write corrective actions with a named owner, an implementation date and a monitoring schedule. Vague promises are what get these refused.

Operations report, not an apology
Who you're hiring

Seven years in Amazon, spent on the enforcement side

Reinstate Desk is an independent appeals practice based in the United Arab Emirates, working with sellers across North America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific.

We came out of seven years of hands-on Amazon and ecommerce operations, which means we read a performance notification the way a reviewer does — as a set of unanswered questions about evidence, not as a piece of writing to be improved. Most sellers who reach us have already lost one appeal to a downloaded template. The work is almost never the letter. It is the file underneath it.

We take a limited number of cases at a time so that the person who diagnoses your account is the person who writes and submits it. You will not be handed to a queue.

What we actually commit to

  • A free written diagnosis within 24 hours — including a straight "don't hire us" if the case isn't winnable or you can handle it yourself.
  • A flat fee, quoted before work starts. It does not move if the case runs long.
  • One free rebuild if your first submission is refused.
  • No password, ever. We work from your notifications and documents.
  • An NDA before you send anything, if you want one.
  • No guaranteed outcome, because nobody can honestly offer one.
Before you hire anyone

Straight answers

Can you guarantee my account comes back?

No, and neither can anyone else. Reinstatement is Amazon's decision. What we control is the quality of the diagnosis, the evidence and the submission — and that is what the outcome usually turns on. If we think a case is not winnable, we tell you at the review stage instead of taking your money.

How long does reinstatement take?

Performance and ASIN cases often resolve in days. Inauthentic and IP cases typically run one to three weeks. Section 3, related-account and review-manipulation cases commonly take several weeks and frequently need more than one round of documents.

Do you need my Seller Central login?

No. We work from your performance notifications, account health screenshots and documents. If you later want us to submit directly, you can add us as a limited-permission user — you never share a password.

My appeal was already rejected. Is it over?

Not usually, but the approach has to change. Resubmitting the same POA with extra attachments is the most common way sellers lose a recoverable case. We work out what the rejection was actually telling you and rebuild from there.

What do you need from me to start?

The full performance notification text, a screenshot of your Account Health page, any previous appeals you submitted, and the supplier invoices or compliance documents related to the flagged products.

What are my funds doing while I'm suspended?

Amazon typically holds disbursements while an account is under review, and holds can extend past reinstatement. This is one reason speed matters — every week of delay is working capital you can't reach.

Should I just open a new account instead?

Almost never. Opening a second account while the first is deactivated is itself a policy violation and is the fastest route to a permanent related-account block on both. Appeal the account you have.

Which marketplaces do you cover?

All major Amazon marketplaces — US, Canada, Mexico, UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Netherlands, Sweden, Poland, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, India, Japan, Singapore and Australia. Document expectations and appeal language differ by region, and we write for the region reviewing your case.

Is my information kept confidential?

Yes. Documents are used solely to prepare your case and are never shared with third parties. We'll sign an NDA before you send anything if you prefer.

How do you charge?

A flat fee per case, quoted in writing after the free review, so the price doesn't move if the case runs longer than expected. Full Appeal is $149, Escalation is $499, and account-health monitoring is $99 per month. Full Appeal is paid in full before work starts; Escalation is 50% on accepting the quote and 50% on submission. Bank transfer, card or Wise. Fees are non-refundable once work has begun — which is why the diagnosis is free and we tell you upfront if we think a case isn't worth running.

Free case review

  • The document list your appeal will stand or fall on
  • An honest read on your odds, including if we think you shouldn't hire us
  • A fixed quote if you want us to run the case
